From Our Table to Yours

Friday Arts Project’s first ever digital fundraiser.

 

Monday, May 25 — Friday, May 29, 2020

Food and Art are two of the things our community rallies around the most. As we dust off old recipes or try new ones, you will be invited in for five nights of digital dinner parties followed by warm & insightful conversations with artists both near and far.

The event will be staged on two platforms over the course of the week. Each evening will begin at 5:30pm on Facebook Live as selected local artists who value cooking invite you into their kitchens for a cooking show meets interactive performance piece.

Afterward, we will all hop on Zoom at 8pm for artist talks, conversations or presentations with Mako Fujimura, Angelo Geter, Sarah Kennedy Irwin, John Hendrix and Jocette Arıbeyi. The first part of the evening—the dinner party—will be free and open to the public, the second part of the evening—the conversation—will be ticketed events. We think this format is a great way to represent one of our values—generosity.
