Food & Art: From Our Table to Yours is Friday Arts Project’s first ever digital fundraiser.
On May 25th at 8p join Mako Fujimura and Friday Arts Project Director, Kirk Irwin for a guided conversation. Fujimura is a painter and formative thinker about the arts. His work in Nihonga (Japanese art) revolves around “slow art”, topics of spirituality and humanness and has been described by David Brooks of the New York Times as “a small rebellion against the quickening of time”.
Event time will run about an hour – depending on how long the Q&A goes
This guided conversation will take place on Zoom, with a capacity of 90 participants.
